Our courses consist of 5 beginner lessons spanning over 5 weeks where you will gain confidence, understand the rhythms of the music, and learn the best moves for the dance floor!
Our Story
Bachata Movement was started in Cardiff by Harshita in June 2024, thanks to her love and passion for the music and Dance style. Initially it was only a weekly practice night between friends, a chance to catch up, relax, and dance together through the evening. As the Bachata opportunities to develop diminished in Cardiff Harshita took a leap of faith and started organising monthly classes with some of the Uk's top Bachata artists she had met during her time traveling and dancing throughout the country. Here the Bachata Movement Cardiff Masterclasses were born.
It soon became apparent, however, that it was increasingly difficult for her to share her passion of bachata with new people as there were no beginner focused lessons or courses available. It was then that she teamed up with Danny to set up the Bachata Movement School. Together, with her extensive dance experience and his background in years of sports coaching and development, they created courses tailored for beginners and began growing the Bachata community from the ground up into what it has become today.
